War of Classes is a Project based on a role play game, it will start on September and will last until the school year is over in June. It is aimed at 14/15 years old students with a B2 Spanish level. To be carried out, several active methodologies have been considered: Project based learning (PBL), Task-based learning (TBL), Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), gamification and Cooperative Learning (CL)
The main aim of the Project is to show a more modern way that can help students to improve their intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and their implication in learning Spanish as a second language. To do so, several innovative resources have been used to find new ways of working in the classroom. Far from master classes, teachers and students will work together to get a common objective.
Moreover, all the B2 linguistic contents established in MCERL will be considered, as well as other transversal contents. In this way, students will not only learn the language but also its culture. This is very important by the time of learning a foreign language, as not only the traditional contents are the ones which provide knowledge, but also being close to the culture of the target language.
Finally, this project is meant to be developed working with several groups at the same time, in this way we will foster healthy competition on the one hand, and on the other we will also show them the feeling of belonging to the same group.
